Week 8

This week was pretty crazy but great.  I got sick at the start of this week and wasn't able to go out for a day but I felt great after that one day.  It was weird, I felt like crap one day, woke up the next perfectly fine.  But yeah, I knew I would get sick at some point in the first couple weeks, glad to have gotten it over with.  Hopefully I don't get sick again for a while.
On Thursday, Peru played Argentina in a WC Qualifier.  We tried knocking on doors and contacting during the game, but nothing happened.  The streets were empty and nobody would answer.  We ended up just watching the game with a member because we couldn't make any progress.  I know we´re not supposed to but we just had to watch the game.  It´s crazy when a game is on here.  Seriously everyone is watching it.  But it ended up 0-0 but we got to see Messi which was cool.
For investigators, we have a couple that are progressing pretty well.  We committed an investigator to baptism this week as well.  We are planning for her to be baptized the 28th of October.  My companion wants me to baptize her.  I want to but at the same time its a lot of pressure haha.  I don't even know the words and the people´s names are always a paragraph length long.  But we´re super excited.  We should also have at least one other person planning to be baptized this week.  Overall, the investigators are usually very receptive.  I'm trying my best to participate as much as I can and bear my testimony where I can.  I never know when my words may just maybe make a difference.
This week I also had my first normal Sunday in the field.  Our ward is pretty small, probably around 50 members.  It was a testimony and my companion and I both bore our testimonies.  Mine was pretty short haha but I tried my best.  It was a very cool experience and awesome to see how a church meeting is like in Peru!  Ill probably end up giving a talk pretty soon as well, Ill keep you updated.
Today, when I'm writing this, is also District P day.  We are going to play some games and have a barbeque which will be super fun.
But really, time does fly here.  The days sometimes go by slow but the weeks go by so fast.  I'm really enjoying learning and trying my best to be the best missionary I can be.  Love you all and miss all of you!!!!
