This week was another great week. I'm half way done with my first transfer already? But really, time does fly here. We started off the week with a Multi-zone conference. It was so good and all of the messages were so powerful. I learned a lot and I was even able to understand around 80% of it! Also, I was able to see three of the elders that I knew in the CCM! They're all doing great and they're some of my best friends already.
This week it has been raining a ton, and when it rains here, it rains so much. The streets are empty and it often rains for hours. During one day, my companion forgot his umbrella and it started pouring. We had to try and share the umbrella haha but were both soaked when we returned back to our place.
Also, we've been contacting a ton this week. All of our appointments have been falling through so we end up just knocking on doors. Our goal is to knock on everybody´s door in our area because our area is somewhat small. However, with all of the time we've had contacting, we´re gaining a ton of new investigators! I think we had 6 this week which is really good! One day, we were contacting and we found the most receptive lady ever. We taught her the first lesson and she cried twice during the lesson. It was so spiritual and I can´t wait to meet with her again. Overall, we´re having more success recently. My Spanish is getting so much better and my companion and I are having a lot of success.
This past Saturday, we had a Noche Misional. We (us and another companionship) had planned a game for the members on a Saturday night. It was going to be super fun and we had food and everything. Unfortunately, only 5 members showed up haha. And none of them brought any potential investigators haha. But we ended up just playing the game ourselves and with the 5 members. It was super fun. We definitely need to get the word out better next time we have an activity like that.
Lately, I've been reading the Liahona a ton. We have about 3 million different copies in our room and I´m reading so many of them. But in the most recent version, there´s a story about a man from Huancayo if you are interested. Also, I wish I had read the Liahona before the mission, its great!
And something random from the week: I had the best mango I've ever had in my life. I didn't even like mangoes before the mission but I think it´s now my favorite. That mango was straight outta the Amazon and amazing! I don´t know something random but funny haha.
I´m sorry to say this, but I also don´t have too many pictures this week. I´ll have plenty next week because I know you guys want photos. Anyways, miss and love you all!!!!
