Week 14

Another week down!  This week was pretty good!  We've been teaching these two kids named Felix and Brian every day for 2 weeks.  They always answer the door, and have attended church with us both times we´ve asked.  The best part, we were able to put a baptismal date for them.  They are both so excited to be baptized and Brian, the younger one, is going to be baptized on his birthday.  We are going to do everything we possibly can to make sure they are baptized!  We are going to keep meeting with them every day, it´s awesome!  We have a couple other investigators that are soooooo close to baptism we´re just waiting for the right moment.  Wish me luck!
We also had another "Noche Misional" this week.  It was a lot more successful than the last one.  If you can remember, the last one we had, only 7 members showed up.  This week, we had around 40 members, which is about half of the ward!  But the activity was super fun and if there´s food, people are going to show up.  Everyone seemed happy and it was a successful night.  That´s a huge improvement for our ward.  I think we finally have their trust and we are going to continue working with them as much as we can!
Last night, all the missionaries had to attend and watch a Face2Face with the apostles.  It was kinda awkward because the Face2Face was intended for young single adults.  Some of the questions that were asked I was just like, maybe after the mission this will be relevant.  But yeah is was basically a single´s ward activity with a bunch of missionaries there for no reason haha.
This week in the ward, we had the opportunity to  watch the primary program.  As always, hilarious. Some of the kids looked like they were going to die and others singing at the top of their lungs.  Super funny and a  moment that cheered me up a lot.
We also found and are teaching a man who is 100 years old! It´super fun to teach him because we are literally yelling at him.  I also can´t understand a word he is saying but my comp says he is super receptive.  His son was also the bishop at a time and so it´s awesome to have him be able to a company us.  Other than him, found a kid named Marcos.  He is 13 but acts like  he´s 20.  Not even kidding, so smart and so receptive.  He always completes the commitments and has a good future in the church, I hope!!
Overall, this week was super good in terms of progress.  I´m happy and love and miss you all!!!!
