Another week down! This week was pretty hard and frustrating. We received some bad news about some of our investigators. To summarize, we have 3 investigators that want to be baptized, but can´t because they are not married. It´s something frustrating for us because they have the desire to be baptized, but can´t because of marriage. It´s also frustrating because it´s a situation that we can´t necessarily control or force. We can only invite and encourage. We also have 3 investigators that want to be baptized that are teens, but their parents won´t let them. We can´t even meet with one of them because their Mom won´t let us. The other two, Felix and Brian, can´t be baptized because their father thinks they aren´t ready. It just seems every time we´re about to have success, something happens or comes up. Overall, it was a super frustrating week and I asked myself a lot why I was even here? I´m seriously working so hard and doing everything I can to help these people, but like I said, I can only invite and promise blessings. I just had to remember that I am not here for myself, I´m here for the Lord. I may not ever see these people get baptized or have success in this area, but I´m trying my best and I feel that matters most. I hope that things can improve this week as we continue to work hard!
