Merry Christmas from Peru! This week was my first week in Cerro de Pasco and it was very different from Huancayo. It´s freeeeezing here and I actually had a white Christmas, but in Peru! My companion, Elder Rodriguez, injured his foot pretty bad and so we weren´t able to leave the apartment very much. I got so bored haha, I´m so used to walking all day. But i was able to read a lot, and also learn quite a few new card games haha. But the area I am in is called Paragsha and it´s on the hillside about ten minutes outside of Cerro central. I don´t know if I will stay here long though, I might get transferred out. But all of the missionaries have been Christmas Caroling a lot. It´s very hard to find people here so we went to several plazas during the week and sang Christmas hymns. It was super fun, but also very hard to sing went it´s freezing outside! I also ate Guinea Pig for the first time in the mission. It was alright haha. It has a unique taste that isn´t too bad but the hard part is looking at it. They cook the Guinea pig pretty much completely whole and it´s hard to look at it and have an appetite haha. But this Sunday, yesterday, the Primary had their program in the church. The ward is super small here but it´s always super funny to listen to the kids sing and talk. Last night, the fireworks were absolutely crazy for Christmas. I felt like I was in a warzone haha. It was super cool and super loud for a while. That´s about it for this week!
White Christmas
The color of the water here haha. Only drink bottled water!!
