So this week was pretty great. I went to the doctor to get my stitches out but they told me it was not ready. So unfortunately, I had to wait another week until I can get the stitches out. I am going to go to the doctor to get them out tomorrow, and HOPEFULLY I can get back to working in my area.
We just had changes again, and I am going to stay with Elder Francia for another change in Huáunuco which I am super happy about. But the best part of this week was our baptism. Both Steffany and Román got baptized this Saturday and I am so happy!! I have worked so hard and it´s so nice to see the results of my work after about 5 months haha. Finally! They were two amazing investigators and It was so awesome to see them become members of the church and take that big step of baptism. Now we just have to get Steffany's Dad to get baptized, which should be pretty soon. He is also super great. But not too busy of a week for me, still had to rest and get my leg better, but it looks just about healed now.
Just some random things that happened this week or are going to happen. There is another festival going on in Huánuco this month of February. It´s called Carnival and it´s super awesome. It´s basically a city wide water fight for the whole month of February. It´s super funny because you will just see people walking down the streets with water balloons and they just throw them at random people. It should be a pretty fun experience haha. Also, sorry mom, but I gifted my U of U sweatshirt to my pension´s husband to make him a U fan. I was super happy to see him wearing the sweatshirt and make him a U fan haha.
