This week was a really good week and we worked super hard. We started off the week, on Tuesday, with a Multi-zone conference. It was focused on finding and contacting, since that seems to be the mission objective right now. Our President gave us some amazing ideas on finding people and really inspired me to work hard. We also had the area doctor come to that conference and give us a lecture, it´s always scary when they come. They always just bring up the worst of the worst that could happen and then tell you to watch for signs of these things. He talked about some disease named Chikingunya which sounds pretty horrible, hopefully I don´t get it. But it was a really good meeting and I learned a lot, I always love going to those meetings and hearing from President.
So from now on in the mission, every Tuesday is dedicated to finding people. No appointments longer than 15 minutes and you have to contact all day. We had another full contacting day this week and another one tomorrow, those are definitely the most tiring days. But they work well. We are finding a lot of new people to teach and it´s cool to start off with new people. One thing that President told us to do which I liked was "Pray to God like everything depends on him, and work like everything depends on you". He told us to be very specific in our prayers and we will receive specific blessings. One thing I prayed about was putting more baptismal dates and that the people will be prepared to accept them. Well, we were able to put a couple baptismal dates and I know that God is listening to my prayers. At times, I have felt that my prayers are kind of lacking or lazy, but after that Conference, I have been improving my prayers a ton and feel that God is blessing me because of it.
Overall, it was a good week and we worked super hard. I would like to end with the list of investigators that need all of our help through prayers:
1. Katty (again): that she can be married on March 16 and be baptized on the 17th
2. Miguel and Adeli (again): that they can have a greater desire to get married and trust in the lord and not fear the future.
3. Candy: That her baptismal date for this April will go through and that her parents can support her in her decision
4. Neville: Testimony of Joseph Smith and have the desire to get baptized
5. Gabriela: That she can get baptized for her birthday
Love and miss you all, thank you for your love and support!!!!!!
