This week was a very good week here in Huánuco. Nothing too special happened but nothing too bad happened. It rained a ton this week and I broke my umbrella. Have to buy a new one today. We also got locked out of our apartment on Friday the 13th, I guess we actually did have bad luck that day. Super awesome thing this week, a member surprised us at our apartment with KFC! I was super happy because there was no rice and it was something from USA.
We had a pretty funny experience this week as well. We were contacting and we found this one girl that didn´t seem interested at all. We kept trying to talk to her and finally she asked us where we were from. When my companion told her he was from the Phillipines, she freaked out. Her whole attitude changed and she was super receptive all of the sudden. Turns out, she is obsessed with TV shows from the Phillipines and has always wanted to go there. But like I said, she went from super mean to super receptive. We ended up teaching her about the BOM for a while and giving her one, now she is an investigator haha.
One of our investigators, Guadelupe, is having a hard time. Her husband is super lazy and isn´t helping provide for the family. She was super stressed and super sad, so we were able to help her a lot. We were able to give her a blessing of comfort and teach her about trials in our lives. She seriously loves us now and is thankful for our help.
My pension gifted me a new pair of shoes! He is the best and I was so happy haha. I would just like to finish with the list of investigators that need our help:
1. Darianela: that she can get baptized this April
2. Marco and Clubers: That they can get testimonies and have a greater desire to go to church
3. Neville: That he can get a testimony of the BOM
4. Regner: That he can get a testimony of the BOM
