Another good week in Huánuco! So we had transfers this week. Elder Francia got sent to Huancayo so it was pretty sad. I was with him for 3 changes! But my new companion is Elder Muñoz. He is from the US but his parents are from Peru. It is super cool because he likes to work hard and is spanish is super good as well! I will send pics next week.
This week, we had our multizone conference which was super awesome. We learned a lot from president about the importance of using analogies in our teaching. When someone can´t understand, use an analogy. He said that if we can use one for each principle we teach, we will have a lot more success. Also like the BOM says, everything testifies that there is a God. During our lessons, look around, and use what there is around to testify of God and use analogies.
A cool experience happened this week that I would like to share. So it turns out, the day that I cut my leg, the girl that helped me in the hospital decided to let the missionaries visit her. While waiting in the hospital, we contacted her and were able to pass the reference to the other missionaries. Two months later, the missionaries called us saying that she is going to get baptized this week. I was thinking about how God really does have a plan for everything. Because I cut my leg haha, we were able to meet this girl and tell her a little about the church, well not, she is getting baptized! It isn´t my investigator but hey, I was the first missionary she knew haha! But I will send a pic with her next week. (Also, don´t know how to turn off the italics haha). Pretty cool though, God really does have a plan for everything.
This could be my last tranfer here in Huánuco, going to make the most of it. Investigators are progressing well. Would like to include the list of people who need our help:
1. Guadalupe: Testimony of Joseph smith and this church
2. Marco: That he can recieve a testimony about the BOM and have the desire to attend church
3. Neville: That he can not fear the future and get baptized this may
4. Miguel and Adeli: That they can be happier and have peace in their minds, that they can have success in their work
