Week 41

This week was a pretty good week here in Huánuco, nothing too special haha.  Marco, our investigator who wants to get baptized, still does, just trying to talk to his mom more and more and gain her trust.  We have also been reading a ton of the BOM with him, and just get his testimony stronger.  We were able to put a new baptismal date for him for the end of June, he accepted it and said he would try to prepare more for that day.  Please pray for him and that he can get baptized.
Also, we had a cool experience with one of our investigators this week.  We were talking to a mom named Nery, and she is super cool.  We asked her if she had received an answer to her prayers about her message and she said no.  We then shared our testimonies and how we had personally received our answers and asked her if she had ever felt anything similar.  This time, she told us that she had.  She told us that when we first taught her about prophets, she felt something different in her heart.  And ever since that day, she feels that she has had some sort of change in her heart.  We told her that that is her answer and that she should follow it.  We left her with the commitment to read 2 Nephi 31 and pray to know if it is true.  We are going to commit her to baptism this week, please pray for her and pray that she will accept the commitment that we leave with her.
This week, we also tried having another Noche Misional.  It was a Noche Mistura, or basically, food night.  We had assigned members weeks ago to bring their favorite food and share it with others and it was all planned super well.  Well, being in a Peru haha, everyone canceled that same night at like 8 o´clock, telling us they weren´t going to be able to make it (the activity was SUPPOSED to start at 7 haha).  Anyways, we ended up only having two families bring their favorite food and share it, so our investigators were only to get a bite or two.  Pretty disappointing but pretty funny.
Darianela, the girl who got baptized last week, is super awesome.  We went to visit her this week, and her entire family history booklet was filled.  We were going into that lesson, with the intention of teaching about family history, but she not only already knew, but had already done it.  It made me super happy, she is super awesome.
Anyways, Love and miss you all!!!! If you have any questions just let me know!

A member bought us KFC, so freaking good haha.  I miss american food haha.

Also there was some chicken fight in the street, pretty interesting to watch haha, here is a short video.
