Well changes came, and they are super surprising. I 100% thought I would return to Cerro de Pasco, and was ready for it, considering I had asked to go back, but this change is completely different. I got called and was told I was going to open an area in a place called Oxapampa. I am suuuuuuuper happy! Oxa is an awesome place and has a lot of history. It is a German settled town in the middle of the jungle, and after having walked the streets for a bit, I do not feel like I am in Peru. So yeah, opening an area is going to be pretty fun but hard.
My companion is named Elder Cartagena, he is from Chile. We traveled for about 6 hours today, that´s why I am writing late, we just got here. It isn´t too hot here. Oxapampa is known for not being too hot or cold. Anyways, I should be here for a while, we are going to have to contact a lot but it´s ok, I love contacting.
About general conference, it was super cool. I felt like they talked as if directing themselves to non members which was really cool. Also, two hour church sounds pretty awesome, we´ll see how it goes. I still haven´t seen the Sunday sessions because it was elections yesterday in Peru, we are going to watch it this Sunday.
Overall, pretty happy about the changes and the work I did in Central, I left the area in good shape and the elder that comes in should have a lot of success. Now for some jungle pics!!!! Love and miss all of you!!!!
