Week 62

Another good week here in Oxapampa.  Elder Cartagena and I are working very hard still.  We have been praying a ton to find people to teach.  This week, we have been searching for people to teach and we are finding what we are looking for.  At times, we get a little discouraged but we keep working.  I know that the lord will bless us.
We were able to work super hard until Thursday, when we had to go back to La Merced for the Multi´zone conference.  Going back to La Merced was pretty rough haha.  The road is so beautiful but there are so many curves.  Peru just stuffs the mini vans until you can´t fit anything else.  Also, La Merced is super hot.  That is like the real jungle, Oxapampa is half jungle.  But anyways the conference was super awesome, and they just happened to talk about finding the people who the Lord has prepared for us.  It was super applicable and it is exactly what me and my companion have been doing.  There was a phrase that I loved a lot.  It said, "Success isn´t found in the results, but in the effort."  I really like that phrase because I have felt that a lot of my mission I have planted seeds but not have seen the results.  Anyways, it made me feel happier because I always work as hard as I can, and the results aren´t the most important aspect of missionary work.
Something different about being here in Oxapampa is that we are completely alone haha, I haven´t had a district meeting since I have been here and I like it haha, more time to work.  We have some people that are starting to progress, once again, it has only been two weeks but I will let you know about their progress.  Trying to send photos to you all but the internet is so freaking slow here haha.  But love and miss you all!!!!! I forgot my agenda as well and so I kind of forgot what cool things happened this week.
