Hey everyone, this week was super good. It has been raining a ton though. It is funny, here in the jungle, you never know when it is going to rain. Yesterday, my companion and I were walking in the giant park in Oxapampa and out of the blue, it started pouring rain. We looked around and realized we were far away from everything and just started sprinting to the nearest store haha. We were drenched and some of the members told us they saw us running and tried to help but we didn´t hear anything haha. But yeah, it is the rainy season here in Peru so I can´t complain.
Anyways, Oxapampa is pretty cool haha. I realize a lot of days that I am taking my time here for granted. I am super happy here but it looks like this February I´ll be headed out. But yeah, our investigators are doing well. Kenyo and Dina, the two with baptismal dates, are progressing very well. We only have to teach Kenyo about Tithing and we finish all of the lessons, also his best friend (member) just got the priesthood to be able to baptize him. Anyways, I hope and pray that Kenyo can get baptized but at the end of the day, it´ll be his decision. Please pray for Kenyo. Dina is doing well, she comes to church in spite of the fact that her dad wants nothing to do with us. She tells us that her Dad says he thinks we are spies sent from the US to spy on them haha. But yeah, both Kenyo and Dina need to read the BOM a little more and they´ll be ready to be baptized. But I am super happy to have helped them progress so much and I just want to see them be baptized sooo bad.
Other than that, nothing too crazy has happened this week. We are going to go to La Merced this week for the multi zone conference which will be fun. Volleyball Friday is working super well. We also went and practiced hymns with the director because they sing the same 5 hymns every week haha. But I am sorry for not taking any photos this week, I will take a lot this week. Love and miss you all!!!!!!
