Week 75

Hey everyone, this week was super awesome.  At the beginning of the week, we were in a trio because Elder Jones (an elder from Villa rica) had to come with us while his companion, Elder Cano, was in Huancayo.  He is also just starting his mission so I had two kids for the day haha.  But yeah it was nice having him there because he is just such a positive person and I learned a lot from him.
Later, on Wednesday, we had to go to La merced for the Multilane conference.  Travelling there is always quite an experience, it´s one of the only drives that makes me carsick, but we made it safely.  Anyways, the conference was awesome.  President and the assistants talked about the importance of asking good questions.  I remember at the beginning of my mission, that was the hardest thing to do, knowing what to ask.  But every change and day I have gotten super good at it and it has helped me a lot.  But everyone learned a lot and it was one of the best conferences in the mission that I have had so far. Then we came back from La merced and back to work.
Starting the week off, we had asked Kenyo how he felt about his baptism, and was a little doubtful, we invited him to pray specifically about what he should do.  We came back on Friday, stressed out through the week, to hear that he feels good.  We put a new baptismal date, for my last day in Oxa, and it is looking like he will get baptized.  Please continue to pray for him, I am so excited for him!
We also finished teaching all of the lessons with Dina this week, she says she is excited for her baptism but scared about being obedient for the rest of her life.  We just bore our testimonies and assured her that she would be fine and as long as she tries her best, that is what matters.
Anyways, my time here in Oxa is coming to an end and it has been super fun here, I am so happy to have known so many people here. In the next three weeks are the changes and we will see what is going to happen. Anyways, love and miss you all!!!!!

Me, Elder Villamil and Elder Cano.  Some of my best friends in the mission who are going home this February, que sad haha.

This is the chapel in La Merced.  I like the white chapel with all the jungle around.

More pics from la Merced.

Can´t really see based on the pic, but this spider is huuuuge, like the size of my palm.  It was in the bathroom in La Merced, jungle problems.

My agenda on Elsie´s birthday, I try to draw something every day to make it not look so boring haha, but I love the mission.

More random pics. We also did a bonfire on pday haha.
