Week 79

Hey everyone, just hit 18 months🎉🎉  But yeah pretty crazy how fast the time has gone by, pretty crazy how soon I will be home.
Well, the first week in Cerro was pretty good.  It´s super cold here but not too bad.  The only thing that is hard is that there is no heating haha.  At night, I get in my bed and just shiver for a solid 5 minutes until I can get warm.  And when I wake up, It is so hard to get out of bed, it´s so cold.  But yeah, just getting used to it little by little.
This week, we did an activity for Valentines Day.  We made a big picture frame with hearts and stuff where the couples could take pictures.  We also did a game of how well do you know your boyfriend or girlfriend, where we ask them questions that they should know and then gave them some heart chocolates.  Anyways, it was pretty fun just to see people get embarrassed and not want to do it.  Fun, but unfortunately, we didn´t get any references, they were all for other areas haha.
Something about Cerro that is pretty frustrating is that from December until mid March, EVERYONE leaves Cerro.  Everyone during these months heads to the jungle or to huanuco to get away from the cold, so it is kind of a ghost town right now haha.  Even our freaking pension traveled haha, I haven´t even met her yet haha.  But the good part is that we found two families this week which seem super awesome.  I still haven't had the chance to meet those who are progressing because they are on vacations but they should get back soon which is good.
The ward here seems super supportive and happy.  We are doing weekly activities and they seem super excited about missionary work.  Sorry for not taking any photos this week, I just forgot but I promise to take some this week.  Love and miss you all!!!!!!!!
