Hey everyone, pretty good week here in Cerro. We are working hard and are having a lot of success! We have a new investigator named Judith that came to church, she is super cool. We invited here to be baptized and she said that she had already decided she wants to get baptized. Near the end of April is her baptism so pretty excited for that. Manuel, our deaf investigator, is doing well, he should be getting baptized soon, just a lot of careful preparation. Eric, another person is progressing well and should be getting baptized soon. Yesterday, we had an awesome experience after conference. A member called us over and said she had a reference for us and we were pretty excited as usual haha. Turns out, she had brought two whole families to conference and they said they were interested! She gave us a total of 10 references! I was so happy because references are the way to go and are a lot better to teach. We have an appointment with the two families this week and we will see how it goes. They may be the families I have been looking for!
As for conference it was awesome as always. I loved all of the talks and my favorite was Tad R. Callister´s talk about the Atonement. But really, all of the talks were super good. My favorite phrase was "make God´s objective, your objective". I always feel motivated to work harder after conference. Next conference though, I will be home!
Funny but mean story, I hit a dog super hard with a rock, I am so sorry. So this dog was kinda annoying us after a bad day so I decided to lob a rock at it. To my surprise, I drilled it on it´s forehead and it started crying instantly so loud that the owner came out and started looking for us. I felt bad but Peruvian dogs are asking for it so it was kinda his own fault haha.
We also had Tonga night at the ward which was pretty fun. There is a sister missionary from Tonga so we took advantage to learn about Tonga, sounds pretty cool.
