Yo everyone, pretty exciting last two weeks. So two weeks ago I was in Cerro, pretty awesome last week there. I sent some pictures of our activity, Trip to ancient America, which turned out to be awesome. We decorated several rooms and had each ward be in charge of them, each ward acted out some of the most known stories in the BOM. So we acted out Lehi and his family, Alma baptizing secretly, Samuel the Lamanite, Jesus coming to the Americas, and Moroni. It took a TON of preparation but turned out so well. I would say around 300 people showed up. I don`t know how many people were members or not but pretty crazy. I think the whole zone ended up with about 30 references. But super fun and I felt like it was probably one of the best activities we have done. A member took a video, trying to get that video right now and will send it later.
Bad news though, I went to internet last p-day in Cerro and lost my camera memory. Most my photos were sent home luckily but unfortunately, lost some other photos. But I got a new memory and am taking a lot of new photos but still pretty sad though.
Good news is that Erick and Judith both got baptized last Saturday! It was a good way to end my time in Cerro and they are both so awesome, I am so happy for them. Hopefully some more of my other investigators will be baptized soon too!
But yeah, had changes too. I asked President to finish my mission in Huànuco and literally praying to come here and he sent me to Ambo so super happy! Ambo is just a smaller version of Huànuco about half an hour outside of Huànuco. It has perfect weather but is pretty dang poor but who cares, I`ve been in Peru for so long haha. But yeah, my companion is named Elder Gamboa. He is from The Philippines, so my second companion from that place. He is super cool and only has about 5 months in the mission. But yeah, get to visit my old area every once in a while so happy about that.
Doing a lot of contacting right now, trying to find some new people so that`s always fun! But yeah, Happy mothers day as well mom, love you!!!!!!
